Harper Contracts (Insch) Ltd started out as Bryan Harper Transport with a single lorry back in 1979.
The company began as purely haulage in the round timber industry, primarily from the Huntly and Bennachie Forests. By the end of the 1980s Bryan had expanded to around 12 trucks hauling roundwood to local sawmills and various destinations around Scotland and the north of England. Since then the company has expanded into whole tree chipping, wood recycling, wood fuel production and other industry related services and is now in it's current form of Harper Contracts (Insch) Ltd with sister companies Puffin Energy, Wood Recycling Scotland and Loghaul.
Although we have diversified, we are still a haulage company at heart and are proud to work closely with companies like Norbord, Euroforest and the Forestry Commission.
