PACKAGING AND DISPATCH LABOURER

Location: Boyndie ‘Drome, Banff

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Permanent (3-month trial as standard)

Hours: Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5.30pm

Pay: £22,230 - £23,855 per annum

Job Background: The job will be based at our busy pellet production plant at Boyndie, Banff. We are looking for a hard worker, who is physically fit, who’s eager to learn and works well as part of a team as well as on their own. Experience in operating a forklift would be preferred but not essential as all training will be given.

Duties: Main duties will be operating our bagging facilities for wood pellets and wood briquettes and building pallets of the finished product. The employee will also assist with loading of the delivery vehicles and general store man duties.

Experience preferred: Experience in working in an industrial or factory setting preferred. Experience in operating a forklift would be good but not essential as all training will be given. The applicant must have their own transport to get to and from work.

 

 

 

PELLET PRODUCTION OPERATOR

Location: Puffin Pellets- Boyndie

Start Date: 19th October 2020

Contract: Permanent (3 month trial as standard)

Hours: Monday – Friday 5.30am - 5.30pm

Pay: £28,400 - £31,200 per annum

Main duties: Main duties will be based around the operation of our sawdust drying line and the wood pelleting line. You will be in charge of making sure production runs smoothly.

Experience preferred: Experience in driving a forklift and telescopic forklift (or similar) is required. 

Job Background: The job will be based at our busy pellet production plant at Boyndie, Banff. Applicant, if successful, will be in charge of operating our production lines and keeping everything running smoothly. We are looking for someone who can work well under pressure, who’s eager to learn and works well as part of a team as well as on their own. Good mechanical knowledge or experience in pellet production plants would be an asset, but not essential as all training will be given.

 

 

 

BIOMASS ENGINEER

Location: Harper Contracts - Insch

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Permanent (3 month trial as standard)

Hours: Monday – Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm (negotiable)

Pay: £26,000 - £34,000 per annum - Wage depending on experience and will be discussed at interview stage           

Job Background: We are looking for a self motivated individual to manage and maintain our Combined Heat and Power plant and our other biomass heating systems. These vary in size from 25kW to 3MW systems.

Main duties: Main duties will be based around the operation and maintenance of the CHP plant at Insch. Other sites are located around the north east of Scotland and need regular servicing on a weekly or fortnightly basis. A work vehicle will be supplied for site visits.

Experience preferred: Experience in plumbing, heating, biomass or mechanical engineering required. Experience in operating forklift and telescopic forklift is preferred. Applicant must have a full and clean driver’s license.

 

 

 

YARDS PERSON

Location: Insch

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Permanent (3-month trial as standard)

Hours: Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5.30pm (negotiable)

Pay: £22,230 - £23,855 per annum

Job Background: The job will be based at our company headquarters at Insch. We are looking for a hard worker, who is physically fit, who’s eager to learn and works well as part of a team as well as on their own. 

Duties: Main duties will be general site maintenance, loading customers vehicles and trucks using the counter balance forklift or telescopic forklift. Carrying out local van deliveries and collections.

Experience preferred: Experience in working in an industrial setting preferred. Experience in operating a forklift, telescopic forklift, tractor or similar would be good but not essential as all training will be given. The applicant must haver a full, clean license and have their own transport to get to and from work.

 

 

 

MATERIALS MANAGER (SCOTLAND-WIDE)

Location: Scotland Wide

Start Date: 19th October 2020

Contract: Permanent (3 month trial as standard)

Hours: Negotiable

Pay:   A competitive salary is available to the right candidate.

Job Background: We are looking for a Materials Manager with the experience and motivation to enhance and build on our reputation with existing clients, as well as someone who has the initiative, professionalism and enthusiasm to help us expand our customer base.

Main duties: The successful applicant should be a self-motivated individual who has the ability to build relationships at all levels whilst working within an area under the guidance of the Company Director and Depot Plant Managers. Individuals should be able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness, excellent interpersonal skills and should have experience of working in either a Forestry related or Wood Recycling role.

Experience preferred: Excellent organisational and IT skills are desirable, but above all we are seeking someone with enthusiasm and drive and who can demonstrate flexibility and adaptability with a strong “Can Do” approach to a varied workload.  A Valid driving license is essential for this role.
